Introduction
Welcome to the FACTS website. FACTS is a Registered Training Organization (RTO) in Geelong Victoria. Facts is also a National provider of education and training which means we are registered to deliver accredited training interstate. FACTS meets quality assurance and assessment standards agreed to by Federal, State and Territory Governments in Australia. Adherence to these standards is monitored by FACTS and subject to regular external audit by the State Government registering authority. ACPET is a private peak body for private training organisations, which sources up to date information and training regulatory compliance.
Application Processes and Selection Criteria:
Application is made by telephone, in person or by using the application form supplied on the website. Academic prerequisites for any of the courses can be made upon application. RPL also available upon application
Fees and Costs Involved in Undertaking Training:
See fee schedule for details on each course brochure. Students paying by monthly instalments are eligible for flexible repayment plans, most courses are centrelink approved, please contact them directly in your local area.
Fee Refund Policy:
Please refer to "refunds" under information for participants regarding refunds of fees. Access & equity is available to all participants.
Qualifications to be Issued:
Certificates: Students successfully completing all assessment requirements for a course, will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Qualification. On Partial Completion of a Course: Students completing a short course or assessment requirements for part of a certificate course will be awarded a Statement of Attainment. FACTS: Directors Carol Kemp R.N. B.N.MNg and Sharon Laity R.N. B.N. Both Directors, are Registered Nurses Division 1. Sharon has 15 years Aged Care Management experience and 10 years as a Nurse Educator. She has a Grad Cert in Vocational Education and training. Carol has 10 years Aged Care Management experience, with 4 years Nurse Education experience. She also has a Masters of Nursing Degree.
