| Description - |
| Certificate III in Aged Care allows you access into caring for the aged. Aged care services comprise a system of appropriate support services, involving provision for the maintenance
of continued independence as well as assistance for the frail. Such services should include health monitoring, personal care, environmental and social support services, information and advocacy services. Aged Care Workers have the capacity
to work in a high or low level facility, supportive care or the community.
Learn clinical skills such as - temperature, pulse, respirations, blood sugar levels and blood pressure.
No lift and manual handling skills.
At FACTS the ACFI and Accreditation
Standards are embedded into the course. The ACFI is the funding tool for Aged Care Facilities, therefore, the Aged Care Worker is trained at FACTS to a level that epitomises
the Aged Care Industry. All students must have a current police check prior to clinical placement(cost to the student).
