The Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance will provide you with an outstanding qualification. Graduates of this course can look forward to working in many businesses. This certificate could open many doors for you across a wide range of health outlets.
Why FACTS?
(FACTS) provides up to date information about courses and course content. FACTS allows the students to learn at a pace that is conducive to them. The trainer or facilitator has many years experience in the industry along with teaching and learning. FACTS provides Competency Based Training (CBT) which means that each unit is assessed independently of the others. There are 12 units all together to form the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance.
Forms of Assessment.
Each unit is separate but very closely related to each other, and together they form the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. All units are assessed through workbooks and some assessments are on-line.
Pathways
Once you have completed the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistanceyou can then consider whether you want to go on to the Certificate IV in Allied heath or you can enroll into the many other Certificates such as nursing.

What does the course involve?
This course provides the learner with the basic knowledge and skills required to perform as a allied health assistant. You will explore many forms of learning. You will learn about physiotherapy, podiatry and occupational therapy issues.
Length of course.
The Certificate III in Allied Health is considered on-campus. The course will take approx 8-10 months to complete. There is a workbook for each unit of competency
Payment Plan.
At FACTS we are able to offer the participant a flexible payment plan. The course only can be paid off over a 5 month period. You pay $240.00 per month over 5 months and this is due on the 18th of each month.

HLTMS206B – Perform general cleaning tasks in a clinical setting.
HLTMS208B – Handle waste in a health care environment.
Completion of the course.
On successful completion of this course each participant will receive a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance.
How do I enroll.
All applicants who wish to enroll in the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance must contact F.A.C.T.S. on (03) 52 486055 and ask for a brochure to be sent out. You can also come out to FACTS which is located at 61 Leather Street Breakwater 3219 Geelong. And pick up a brochure and fill it out there and then. If you received a brochure in the mail, then, once you have filled out the ‘sign me up now form’ and attached a cheque to it, send it back to F.A.C.T.S. at the above address.
What Happens Next?
Once F.A.C.T.S. receives your ‘sign me up now form’ and we will then send you out a letter as to when the proper enrolment will be.
