Entry Requirements
To be enrolled into the Medication Administration for registered nurses division 2 you have to met the following criteria:
• Be a registered nurse division 2 with current registration.
• Interview
• Vetassess test.

Each unit is separate but very closely related to each other, and together they form the Medication Administration for registered nurses divion 2. All units are assessed through workbooks, classroom activities and some assessments are done on clinical placement.

Pathways
Once you have completed the Medication Administration for registered nurses division 2 you can then consider whether you want to go on to do the Diploma of nursing or you can enroll into the many other Certificates such as Allied health or Dental Assisting.

What does the course involve?
This course provides the learner with the basic knowledge and skills required to perform as a allied health assistant. You will explore many forms of learning. You will learn about medication, injections and adverse side effects.

Length of course.
The Medication Administration for registered nurses division 2 is considered on-campus part-time. The course will take approx 3-4 months to complete.

Payment Plan.
At FACTS we are able to offer the participant a flexible payment plan. The course only can be paid off over a 3 month period

Course Structure.
The course structure is as follows:

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

HLTEN507A – Administer and monitor medication in the work environment.

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required of enrolled nurses to administer and monitor medications and evaluate their effectiveness for clients within a health environment.

HLTAP501A – Analyze health information.

This unit of competency describes the application of in-depth level of knowledge of anatomy and physiology required to analyze available health information in relation to specific services provided.

Completion of the course.
On successful completion of this course each participant will receive a statement of Attainment for the units of competency completed. We will then apply to Nurses Board of Victoria for your registration as an “Endorsed Registered Nurses Division 2”

How do I enroll?
All applicants who wish to enroll in the Medication Administration for registered nurses division 2 must contact Sharon at F.A.C.T.S. on (03) 52 486055 and ask for a brochure to be sent out. We are still waiting on approval from the NBV but you can still come out to FACTS which is located at 61 Leather Street Breakwater 3219 Geelong. And pick up a brochure and fill it out there and then. If you received a brochure in the mail, then, once you have filled out the ‘sign me up now form’ back to facts.

What Happens Next?
Once F.A.C.T.S. receives your ‘sign me up now form’ and we will then send you out a letter as to when the proper enrolment will be and what you need to bring with you on that day. This letter will be sent to you once we have the Vetassess results.
